NRA/USCCA Basic Pistol Shooting
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. We cover the fundamentals of pistol shooting, shooting positions as well as cleaning and maintaining your pistol. Other topics covered are handling firearms safely, eye dominance, working with a two handed
and one handed grip, utilizing the benchrest and the isosceles positions, as well as how to properly load and unload a firearm. Students shoot approximately 90 - 150 rounds of ammunition. A certificate is provided upon successful completion of the shooting qualification. Investment is $125 per person.
NRA/USCCA Concealed Weapon (CCW)
The NRA Concealed Weapon (CCW) Advanced Pistol course is designed to be taken after the NRA Basic Pistol Course has been completed. It focuses on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will help develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry
and use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. Students shoot approximately 150 - 200 rounds of ammunition and receive a certificate upon successful completion of the shooting qualification. This course utilizes both a holster and cover garb. Investment is $140 per person.
Tennessee Enhanced Carry Permit Course
This is the 8 hour handgun safety course as required by the State of Tennessee to obtain an enhanced handgun carry permit (EHCP) under Tennessee Code Annotated § 39-17-1351. This course covers topics such as the Permit Holders responsibilities, mindset, understanding "self-defense", types of
handguns, ammunition malfunctions, basic fundamentals of pistol shooting (grip, stance, aim, trigger control), and proper storage. There is a written quiz and a shooting qualification. The shooting qualification is a total of 50 rounds. Investment is $125 per person.
nRA Defensive Pistol
This course teaches the students the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential for carrying and using a firearm safely and effectively for personal protection. Students spend the entire class on the range and shoot approximately 200 - 300 rounds of ammunition. Some of the topics covered are presenting a pistol from concealment, working in special concealment situations, basic defensive shooting skills, firing from various shooting positions, utilizing movement and engaging multiple targets, working from different distances, clearing malfunctions and performing mag changes. Investment is $195 per person.
Instructional Shoots
An Instructional Class is entirely conducted on the range. This training opportunity is designed to bring a small group or family together to shoot in a safe environment and in a practical, relaxed, and fun manner. We focus on training real life practical skills that are essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family. Many skills and drill performed in Defensive Pistol I take place in the instructional shoots. These shoots are customized to the skill set of the group or family involved - from people that have never fired a pistol to advanced pistol shooters, this course has something for everyone. Investment is $155 per person.
Scenario Shoots
How would you react and respond if you were pumping gas and someone attacked you, threatening your life? What if you were attacked getting cash out of an ATM or walking in a parking lot to your car with bags in your hands? The Second Saturday of every month these types of scenarios are played out and practiced. Drills start at 9:30 AM and end by 12:30 PM. Second Saturday Scenario Shoots are open to shooters of ALL Levels of shooting experience. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ATTENDING AS GROUP SIZE IS LIMITED. NRA Basic Rifle Shooting
The NRA Basic Rifle Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a rifle safely. Through this course, the students will learn about rifle parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, rifle shooting fundamentals, and rifle shooting activities.
Likewise, students will learn how to open and close the rifle's action, the shooting position, shot preparation, sight picture, breath control, trigger control and follow-through as well as understand muzzle control and muzzle awareness. Investment is $150 per person.

NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Course (RSO)
There is no shooting in this course. The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer certification. To become an NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. This course does not encompass the functions and responsibilities of a Range Officer, who conducts NRA competitive shooting events as defined by Rule 11.5 of the NRA Rule Books.
